When Alex was six he saw a street performer make an audience out of a group of random people. In the middle of the street, he persuaded these people to support his slack-wire, on which he juggled and told jokes. This was at Bethlehem Musikfest, a large festival near Alex's hometown in Pennsylvania. Ten years later, Alex was performing at this same festival. As a teenager, Alex learned to juggle up to five torches. He spent the days practicing tricks, which he later performed for school talent shows, birthday parties, banquets, festivals, and amusement parks. After trying out college and a career in sales, Alex wisely chose the profession of street performer. He spent the next eight years traveling around country with his circle act. Ever since Alex first witnessed that street act at the age of six, he was intrigued by how 'out of the box' street performance was and how it caused people to step out of their routine and think differently. Being able to impart this feeling onto others is the reason Alex keeps performing to this day.
